lost://naheta is a group of artists who have been realizing performance projects since 2019. It consists of Hendrik Arns, Tamara Stotz and Nai-Ying Wang, who met during their studies and have been working together ever since.
In addition to understanding the process of performance making as an open as well as deeply political one, the group combines an examination of interpersonal coexistence, especially against the backdrop of intersectional, (post-)queer debates. Currently, their main research is the concept of renarration and how to understand performance projects as a chance and space for it.
Their "as very subtle as finely tuned" (conerti, 2023) process-based works actively seek the interface between visual, performing and performance art by using text, movement, installation, video and sound as means to immersively explore contemporary questions concerning identity, queerness and loneliness. By applying repetition and reduction as major tools, their works become continuous archeological processes: carefully uncovering the layers underneath an evident topic; in every new project, but also in every single performance anew.
The interim results of their research have already been shown at Museum für Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt (do you remember the graveyard?, 2023), Theater Erfurt (Sorry_X, 2023) , Kühlhaus Berlin (My name is, 2022) as well as Theater im Kino Berlin (I AM WHO I AM, 2021) and supported by various state and private foundations.
